Overview

SCO Module 5 – Audit, Review & Competency Management focuses on maintaining and improving safe operations within the gas network through structured auditing, performance review, and competency management. Delegates will learn how to ensure operational compliance, assess personnel competency, and implement continuous improvement measures.

Training combines classroom instruction with practical exercises and scenario-based learning to develop the skills needed for effective audit and competency management.

Objectives

This module develops the advanced knowledge and skills required for operational oversight and competency assurance, including:

• Operational Auditing – Conducting structured audits of gas network operations to ensure safety and compliance.
• Performance Review – Monitoring and reviewing team and individual performance to identify areas for improvement.

Pre-Course Requirements

Delegates must have completed SCO Module 1, and have suitable reading and writing skills.
